S.C.A.R.E in search of Board Members

S.C.A.R.E. is dedicated to collecting gently used or new costumes & accessories and redistributing them to families around the State of NH to ensure everyone can enjoy the magic & mayhem that is Halloween. S.C.A.R.E. aims to spread excitement and inclusivity in the community by providing costumes to those in need. The organization offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference and bring smiles to children and families during Halloween.

Role Description:
This is a volunteer Board Member role at S.C.A.R.E. located in Nashua, NH, with flexibility for some remote work. The Board Member will participate in strategic planning, decision-making, and governance oversight. Responsibilities include attending board meetings, supporting fundraising efforts, and contributing expertise to enhance the organization's impact.

Qualifications:

• Nonprofit management, fundraising, and governance experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
• Passion for community engagement and social impact
• Previous board or volunteer experience is a plus
• Willingness to promote the organization to family, friends, and the community
