As a Music Instructor you will be responsible for all music education-related elements within the lessons and rehearsals,  creating a dynamic experience to ensure students are challenged and inspired. The Music Instructor positively embodies rock and roll and is responsible for creating a valuable student experience that helpsg our students learn music and life skills.
 
Music Instruction:
  • Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals
  • Ensure students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using the School of Rock Method™
  • Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching Method, Books and Method App
Customer Connection:
  • Communicate with parents on the progress of students by creating quality lesson notes and assignments in the School of Rock Method App for at-home practice
  • Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible while at the school
  • Pitch in during canceled lessons in the overall execution of the program
  • Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities school
 
Skill Requirements:
  • 2 + years experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
  • Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
  • Strong customer relations skills. Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Resourceful; good problem-solver
  • Works well under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor
  • Passion for teaching
