The “books” at this festival are people with stories to tell, about interesting jobs or travels; causes they have championed; experiences of prejudice due to their sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other identity; and more. At the event, you can “check them out” for 15-minute, one-on-one conversations in the library. No advance registration is required, but you can reserve “books” at tinyurl.com/bookfestival2018 starting February 23, if you like. (Library card not required!) Snow date: March 4.
