Do you or does your organization hold events or operate a gallery? Would you appreciate learning about a way to expand the number of people coming to your events or gallery?
The Nashua Arts Commission with the help of City Arts Nashua has initiated a series of workshops to help artists and arts organization, and to promote Nashua as a destination for the arts.
The first will be held on Wednesday, May 24, and is aimed at artists, art galleries, arts organization, and service organization that hold events, along with representatives from Nashua area hotels.
Victoria Cimino, director of the NH Division of Travel and Tourism, will outline the free resources the division offers to help promote NH events and activities, reaching not only within New Hampshire, but also Canada and neighboring states.
New Hampshire is a four-season tourist destination where visitors are looking for experiences to make their stay in NH interesting, exciting and fun. Learn about how to use the Visit NH website to promote your events, how to develop vacation packages with local hotels, what it takes to put together a cultural/art tour, and more.
The free workshop will be held in the auditorium on the third floor of City Hall, 229 Main Street. Parking is available behind City Hall and the nearby City Parking Garage. Doors open at 11:15 am; the hour presentation begins promptly at 11:30 am, followed by half an hour for questions and networking. Bring your bag lunch if you wish; drinks and cookies will be provided.
